Roland Garros- Men's Final

There was a script. They stuck to it. Rafa hadn't lost a set coming through the tournament- and he didn't lose one in the final. Soderling was impressive, but Rafa was inspired. The scores don't do justice to just how hard fought some of those games were.

The Queen of Spain was in the crowd. Would our Queen have gone to Paris if it had been Andy Murray in the final?

The King and Queen of Spain are huge tennis fans and they also like to support Spanish athletes in many venues especially when a large trophy is at stake.

Our royal family have a thing about horse racing- but that's about it.

No, the Duke and Duchess of Kent are the official British tennis people.

The Kents are mysterious. They show up at Wimbledon- and that's it. I wonder what they do for the rest of the year?
