We took Odi for an ultrasound scan this morning. The child's a girl.  Peter and Odi want to give her an Italian name. I favour Seraphina.

After the hospital visit we went to Sainsburys. It's nice to own food again.

I'm unfashionably excited about the election that was called today.  How many of these things do you get in a lifetime? 15-20? Not so many, anyway. I intend to enjoy this one.

Seraphina is a lovely name.

I'm not even from the UK and these elections are exciting to me. There'll be interesting times ahead.

Seraphina is a beautiful name. I'm quite sure, however, that Italians spell it "Serafina", as "ph", in Italian, is pronounced as a hard "p" (Serapina.)

We were quite excited today to hear that Her Gracious Majesty The Queen saw fit to dissolve Parliament. It's going to be an interesting spring in England, what with elections on May 6 and the alleged announcement one month later of Prince William's engagement and November marriage.

You're right. My Italian is rudimentary. :)

Gosh, you're ahead of me there. I knew nothing about Prince William.
