The 80s Never Ended

Shiraz says his business is bigger than his builder's business- and he makes more money than his builder does-  and  he could easily get someone to break his builder's legs. As it is, he prefers to go through the Trading Standards Authority.  I tell him I think he's making the right decision. 

Andrew Marr was talking about the Thatcher years on TV last night- and of course we got footage- the usual footage- of Harry Enfield waving his wad and going "Loadsmoney!". "We are all Thatcher's children now," said Marr in conclusion- and ain't that the truth!

This morning I tracked down my Pet Shop Boys box set and played "Opportunities" at full volume.
