The weatherman told us at lunchtime that only the South East would be getting serious snow- ha!

I'm in the SE. We only had an inch, if that! Hardly call that serious considering the last lot that got dumped on us all. LOL
Maybe somewhere got it worse?
... Like Oakmouse's 40-odd inches... Now THAT's serious snow. *g*

40 inches- that's almost unimaginable!

We had another seven inches this week, on top of a foot that fell over the weekend, and that was on top of yet more snow from a few days before, though the particulars of that one escape me at the moment.

Last year we hardly had any snow at all, but the novelty is wearing off and I think I'm ready for spring.

Now that's what I call snow!

We had less than an inch.

well I couldn't get to Ashford for work because they are pretty much snowed in. Folkestone is very hard hit too and 2 colleagues failed to get home last night and had to spends the night with friends or family! I worked in Maidstone.

It's not normal- two big snow events in a single winter. We're not used to this sort of thing.
