Rascals

The day before yesterday, when we were visiting the inlaws, Ailz's mother managed to secrete her handbag in Ailz's shopping bag- without anyone (including herself) noticing she'd done it- so yesterday we had to make a special trip over to their place to return it.  Ailz's dad was having a bad day- almost certainly because he'd spent the previous evening force-feeding himself with chocolate bars- something that does not accord well with his status as an insulin-dependent diabetic.

Old people: what rascals they are!

A little like kids in a way.
It's endearing in many ways.

Yes.

I notice I've been blogging a lot more about the in-laws. I guess this reflects their increasing dependency....

And a great trial to us poor young things, ahem.

Awwww... I guess we revert to our childhood?

Second childishness and mere oblivion.....

We weren't designed to live as long as we do. In the wild the human animal would have a life expectancy of 25-30 years.
