Kyle's Christening

I delivered Ailz to church or the christening- through the wind and the rain- and picked her up again when it was all over. The people at church were delighted to see her. She explained my absence thus: "Faith is an all-or-nothing business for him. He can't just turn up now and then". I wouldn't have put it quite that way myself, but I suppose it's not untrue.

When I arrived- the second time- the christening party were having their pictures taken by the chancel step- and I pitched in. Afterwards we all went to Odi and Peter's house for lunch.

You're not a tame lion.

(I like the photographs.)

That's an excellent way of putting it.

Thanks.
