You are not alone in this opinion. As an American let me say that WE overwhelmingly did not want to fight Iraq, either, but were overruled by the power elite. "We the People" really do not have as much of a voice as we would like. Witness public opinion about national health care vs. vocal minority opinion, backed by the same power elite.
