Family Reunion

It was my first wife's 60th birthday at the end of last month. Mike came over from Japan to celebrate . Since then he and Su Young have been to Paris and are now sweeping through the north of England.  We collected them from Piccadilly station yesterday lunchtime, took them home, fed them pizza, dug out the old photos- then drove them over to Joe and Vicky's place  in Bolton. It was all very good.

That was an easy mistake to make :)

My boys are half-American- which has a lot to do with the way they look. Their great-great grandmother- or maybe their great-great-great grandmother- was Cherokee.

How great to all get together. They all look happy and well. Did Mike and Su Young swing past Alice's separately? I'm sorry not to have seen Mike and so is Granny but the demands of a tight schedule are understandable. It can be quite manic visiting everyone who'd like a visit.

They spent a night at Alice's on their way up north. It was all a bit hectic. They didn't get to see any of Ailz's family either.
