Baby-watching

Babies learn so fast. Since we last dealt with him- only a week ago- Fabrizio has figured out how to roll from his back to his front- and back again- and is only a twitch or two away from crawling. We put him in the baby walker and he paddled with his feet- which only just reach the ground- and propelled himself forward. This was a first- and it happened on our watch- hooray!

Babies are delightful when they learn new skills. How old is Fabrizio now?

He's exactly six months.

Isn't it joyful!

I'm glad you have him in your lives

We take it for granted that helpless little parcels of flesh turn into people- but it's an extraordinary process.

Small children amaze me with how much they absorb! I think that's why most babies and toddlers have a look of perpetual amazement on their faces. The whole world is an adventure.

It's a pity we lose that sense of the world being an adventure. :)
