poliphiloI was child-minding Nakisha next door. She's 8 I think. She was doing her homework (sort of) and talking, talking talking. At one point she was talking about thinking- about how weird it is that you can't turn it off- how even if you say, "right I'm not thinking any more" you immediately find you're thinking about not thinking. She wasn't as articulate as I'm making her sound- her mind moves so fast she's onto the next thought before she's finished expressing the one she just started- but the ideas are all present and correct. Smart kid!
