Unusual? Well, the English weather is extremely variable, so nothing is ever unusual- but this has been a very heavy snowfall for this late in the winter. The news programmes are talking of little else. London has ground to a halt.

And the snow is still coming down. I just went out and measured it with a ruler. It's four inches deep. And we have been given a severe weather warning for tomorrow.
