Your post made me chuckle. I live in Las Vegas which is a new city, even by American standards. When my now-husband and I were looking for apartments when we moved in together he refused a group of apartments near my place of employment because they were "too old." "Too old" like they were built in the 90's.
The best quips come years later right? "Too OLD? Like, Mary Queen of Scots lived there???"
