Murray V Gasquet

Now that was one of those matches! Gasquet took the first two sets and Murray the final three. It started at tea-time and finished at sun-set.

Now Murray faces Nadal in the quarter finals.

It WAS one of those matches. The woman on ESPN gushed all over the place this morning, she's got a great big crush on Andy.

Murray was just a boy last year; now he's a man. He could have folded at two sets down, instead he drew on the love of the crowd and fought back. By the end of the match he was absolutely in charge.

It was astonishing - you could almost sense the point at which the match turned and suddenly everyone was behind him.

I reckon that if he plays like that, he'll take Nadal.

This is probably Nadal's year- coming in from Paris and Queens with the wind behind him. But Murray has the talent, I think, to beat anybody. It has the makings of a great match.

Nadal is impressive. And hungry for this title.

Seems like a pretty decent human being too.

I find that I "like" him as a person, and also, I think his image encourages young people to get involved in the sport. I love tennis. It seemed that it had fallen out of fashion for awhile.

Wimbledon has been a yearly fixture in my life since I was a kid. I love tennis; it's the one sport (apart from cricket) that I can sit and watch for hours.
