Nick & Jon's Wedding

It was a great day. I took over 300 pictures. This is my favourite.

Oh how pretty! Are you going to make an album of your other pictures?

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2007-08-26 02:23 pm (UTC)(link)
I've put a number of other pictures in my LJ Scrapbook, under the heading "Nick & Jon's Wedding". The bride and groom will receive an email attachment containing all 300.

Was professional photographer one of your previous occupations? You are so good that if it was not, it should have been! *J*

Thanks.

No I've never been a professional. I just like taking pictures.

There was a real photographer in attendance too. I think he got kinda annoyed with me dodging around his set-ups.

I should think that they should be used to that as it must happen at most weddings! I sure know that it did at my daughter's wedding!

The cake came out beautifully!
My mother always used to put fresh flowers on my birthday cakes. I loved that. Maybe that's part of the reason that I love flowers...

The best man referred to it in his speech as "the leaning tower of Pisa" - but we forgave him.

I wasn't at all sure what it would look like with flowers draped over it, but I was impressed.

(It tasted good too.)

I think that a little lean just makes it look handmade. Besides, the taste is the most important part!

I think it looked really nice!

I couldn't agree more.

A wonderful picture! It must have been a truly joyous occasion!

It was great. Nick and Jon are lovely people and the two families really seem to get on with each other

What a great picture!

Thanks.

The official photographer set it up- and I snuck in under his elbow.

OMG, I love the groom's expression!

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2007-08-26 03:30 pm (UTC)(link)
He has a comedian's face- very expressive. (I don't think he'd mind me saying that.)

[identity profile] karenkay.livejournal.com 2007-08-26 03:32 pm (UTC)(link)
I can tell what you mean. A lot of it is the eyebrows.

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2007-08-26 03:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Yes.

And he's very much in love with Nick. It's delight to see them together.

Thanks.

Wonderful! You got just the right expression on both bride and groom and the confetti falling in front of and over them is marvelous! The bridal bouquet is just lovely.

Thanks. A lot of it's luck. I took over 300 pix and this is the only one with this kind of dynamism.

This just might be the most joyously exuberant wedding photo I've ever seen.

Just wonderful!

Thanks.

The professional photographer set it up. I'm kinda curious to see what his picture looks like.
