New Rabbit

It was rash of us- but he looked so cute in the shop- and he's only a baby.

We brought him home, introduced him to the his new cuddly-wuddly, little friends and- erm- he won.

We're thinking of calling him Little Alex.

Oh, he is *precious*! I love bunny rabbits, but unfortunately I am allergic. (We used to have a rabbit named Harvey, which is how I found out I was allergic.)

We fell in love with his markings. He's apparently a mix of Norwegian Dwarf and Old English.

He's a beautiful new rabbit; the way his coat is lined with white.

Very distinctive, isn't it? We couldn't resist.

He's beautiful!

He looks tough. Look at he's eyeing the camera. No pushover that one!

The struggle for dominance continues. There's been a fightback by the old regime and at the moment Little A is on the back foot.

He's beautiful! Was(is) there a Big Alex?

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2007-03-30 06:24 pm (UTC)(link)
Well there was Alexander the Great.... :)

wow, he's beautiful! i'd like to have a rabbit some day. do you think they get along with cats?

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2007-03-30 06:56 pm (UTC)(link)
I've never had cats and rabbits together but I believe it can be done. A big rabbit is certainly a match for a cat.

I have two cats and a rabbit. One cat studiously ignores the rabbit, the other cat he views as a toy/playmate; she'll play for a bit and then retreat whining. It depends, I think, on the temperament of the cat in question. :)

I take it there“s a Great Rabbit War at your house now.
What happens if peace is impossible?

He is very attractive!

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2007-03-30 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
We have him on a seven day trial period. If the war continues we could take him back. Another possibility would be keep the warring factions in different rooms.

This is so--adorable--I teared up.

He will be happy with his new friends.

(Tony, I took pictures of my first two clay houses--for my village!--if you want to see)

Last night was wild. It's a wonder they didn't all have heart attacks.

I'm coming over to look at your houses...
