Cleopatra

Roman coin showing Cleopatra

OK- so she's got a hooky nose; it's a commanding face. I'm reminded of images of Catherine the Great.

As for Liz Taylor, I think she's swamped in her finery- like an over-promoted harem girl.

Of course, this is what Cleopatra really looked like....

Snap! I have always wanted a bigger, more imposing nose. Mine is somewhat buttonish. I think her strong nose and jaw would have made it difficult for age to weary her as she would kept her strong profile as she grew older, not softened and weakened as more-gentle featured beauties do.

I think our contemporary ideals of female beauty are pretty stupid.

Victoria Beckham for Heaven's sake!

She looks like the Italian guy running the deli I went to earlier this week for a sub.

But hey - she's obviously in touch with her ability to be sensuous, so confidence counts for something.

I think she's actually Hungarian- or maybe Polish- leastways the painter is.

I like how she's kept her hat on.
