Whee

So, I got to play with Carl's Wii and it was fun for five minutes but then the novelty wore off.  After all,  I don't want to go bowling or play baseball in real life so why should it suddenly be thrilling that I can sort of do these things in my front room? Ailz is saying she'll buy me a Wii for my birthday because of enthusiastic noises I made before Christmas and now I've got to talk her down.

So what did Karen do to herself?

How on earth do you kill a cat with a joypad?

Is the gas back on?

See you tomorrow...

Tony

Seems to me it would cause muscle aches--and I know people end up breaking monitors and vases and nearby people's heads...

Sorry to be so long in answering but we lost our internet connection for a couple of days. And now it's New Year's Eve and I'm feeling a lot better, thanks and the cold is almost all gone (touch wood.)

I'm very glad to hear from you. I was beginning to worry that you might be ill.

It's beautifully foggy here (I took pictures at dusk), and I'm glad to be going nowhere tonight. I hear fireworks occasionally, and there will be more at midnight.

Happy New Year to you and Ailz!
