Dunnit!

Sheesh, but that was difficult

Hooray!
My friend's Mum had a jigsaw which presented one picture on a box but the puzzle was a reverse of the image (so a family photo would be on the cover but you had to do a back view). Now that was tough!

I have a personal rule that I can't consult the cover picture while I'm assembling the puzzle.

Wow! For the Escher one that must have been hell!

I think it's the hardest I've ever done.

It's gorgeous...

And think of all that time you used up when you could have been sitting fretting or worrying!

It's a design by the Swiss artist Escher. His drawings convert into really mean jigsaws.

Clever! (applies to both the artist and the puzzle solver)

Thank you.

I love Escher. I've done a number of puzzles based on his work, but this was definitely the hardest.

Clever! Did the wee man supervise?

That's the small explorer.

She stopped by afterwards to admire.

Does she recognize any of the beasts?

[identity profile] poliphilo.livejournal.com 2006-10-27 09:29 pm (UTC)(link)
Of course.

Where she comes from lions with swan necks and fat human faces are common.

Ohh, the pretty! *goes off to look for escher puzzles*

I've got a cupboard full of them and am steadily working through them.

There's one I've started twice and each time it's defeated me.

I like the snail!
