Protective Not Threatening

 I dreamed it snowed. There was a towering waste heap outside the window. It looked like the Matterhorn and was streaked with snow. "Look at the snow," I said, "Look at the mountain." I was a little concerned it might collapse and engulph us. "Did no-one think of that before they built the thing?" I thought to myself. I stepped outside and the wind was so strong I had difficulty standing up.

Then the mountainous waste heap was gone and in its place was the spreading canopy of a tree- protective not threatening-  and I wondered how I could ever have thought it was anything else.....
