Global Warming

Today's temperature was in the 80's (sorry I still think in Farenheit). This shouldn't be happening in Northern England in the middle of September.

Isn't it time we stopped spending all that money on wars about whose God is best and built ourselves some levees instead?

It IS unnatural--it's warmer there than it is here!

Weird.

And we're about to be hit by the remains of Hurricane Gordon: That's a bit weird too.

Good old Richard Branson!

Maybe this is how it begins, with a few, high-profile billionaires making splashy gestures.

September is supposed to be Sydney's driest month, but within the first week the rain levels for the month had broken records. And now, at the beginning of spring, the summer weather has already begun.

It's getting that global warming actually means something to people's day to day lives. I don't think governments can go on ignoring it much longer.

I don't think we're facing Armageddon, but I do think we need to start adjusting to changed conditions.
