 If a tidy-minded person had designed the calendar the Solstice, the New Year and Christmas would all have fallen on the same date- and we wouldn't have this odd week at the end of the year which feels like an appendix to it....

And of course Orthodox Chrsitmas is still to come as they follow the old calendar and this is why we always get a very late card from our old Friend, Anna, in Moscow!

I always think of the interval between Christmas & New Year's as time out of time. A portal if you know how to use it. 😀
