The Cornish Riviera

We watched this Poirot movie- Peril at End House- and they'd filmed it on the Cornish Riviera. I've never been to Cornwall. To judge from this, it doesn't look like it really belongs in England- or anywhere else for that matter; it's got a look all of its own. The rocky coves could be Mediterranean- at a pinch- but the foliage is darker and the light is richer. I wanted to jump in the car and drive down tout de suite.

It's not just another county..it's another world :-)
I hope you get to go one day

I think that's what some of the separatist locals say, too, ... :)

That's one reason i haven't visited yet. I don't like going where I'm not wanted.

Yup, that sums it up nicely. I definitely recommend visiting if you get the chance. As for the Kernow separatists... well, I find most of them are friendly to tourists. It's the city folk who move there permanently that aren't always so welcome...
