Purchas, Her Pilgrimage

I've finished writing Purchas #4. A week or two to let it settle, and then I'll start posting it. This completes the present story arc. Maybe there'll be more Purchas stories, maybe not. The way I'm seeing it now, Purchas, Her Pilgrimage  isn't  a series of four short books, but  one very big book in four sections.

I'll be sorry to take my leave of these characters. I've grown very fond of them.

Sorry but Purchas actually needs to be written until she comes to modern day. :-) I said so.

It's like this. I've reached the end of the current story arc and I don't know where we go next.

If the characters insist on me carrying on, I will, but it's possible there's nothing more to tell.

We'll see.

Purchas has lots to say, we just need to listen to her. LOL

I wish you would consider printing Purchas via Lulu. I would love to have the entire work to read slowly--it's unique and beautifully written.

I got behind, Tony, when I moved, and haven't yet caught up except in snippets. I even thought of asking you for the entire series in Word, but then I thought about how long it would take to print it out!

If you print it on Lulu, you don't pay anything for it up front--it's a print-on-demand service. If I want a copy of my own book of essays, I just order one for $14--

I might consider that.

But first I'd have to thoroughly revise all four parts. That sounds like a daunting task right now.
