Where We're Up To With The Decorating
The first phase is over.
The two rooms Karl has finished are looking bright and modern- as opposed to dark and crypto-Victorian and cluttered.
Karl likes our bedroom wallpaper so much he's taken a sample home to show his wife. It's dark pink with a gold motif. He's hoping she'll let him put it up in their house too.
We now have a three week break. Karl is off working for someone else. When he comes back he'll do the small bedroom we're converting into a "walk-in wardrobe", the hall and the stairwell. That's going to be a big job.
