Will The Madness Never Stop?
Jul. 8th, 2006 10:24 amIt's the morning of Joe and Sara's engagement party. He's up unbelievably early (for him) and has had me doing my head in (after only one cup of tea too - the unbelievable cruelty of it!) looking for a blow-up mattress (he and Sara are being turfed out of bed tonight by an influx of her elderly relatives) which I found easily enough and the pump that goes with it which I couldn't find at all. Ailz has retreated downstairs and is hiding behind Sense and Sensibility. Appealed to about the pump, she says "Use a hair dryer. Sara's a hairdresser, isn't she?"
The wost of it is he's been geeing himself up with this DVD of so-called "Party Hits" including such abominations as the Birdy Song- ("A little bit of this, a little bit of that then shake your tits"). I don't know where the lad aquired his taste in music but it wasn't from me!
