poliphilo We were voting yesterday for a Police Commissioner. Nobody had done any leafletting so it was a case of voting for a party not a person. I suppose I could have done some research if I'd cared deeply enough.
The women at the polling station were all wonderfully smiley and polite- almost embarassingly so- and I had to make an effort to match them. But, why not? This is how we should conduct our politics.
I voted LIb Dem. Their parliamentary candidate Josh Barbarinde seems like a good egg and one of the guys who works for him has been coming to the Meeting House. I have never voted Conservative and couldn't possibly vote Labour so long as Keir Starmer remains in charge....
