The Pattern In The Carpet

 Every Weatherspoons pub has a carpet that has been specially designed for it- with a pattern that in some way represents the character or history of the building that houses it (or so we're told). The Cornfield Garage used to be- da-dum- a garage and its carpet has an abstract pattern in shades of grey. That pattern has perplexed me. It wasn't speaking to me at all. Then yesterday we were in the Garage, eating their excellent vegan curry and drinking beer from small breweries- and I was interrogating the carpet- when suddenly I got the message:- those things are tire tracks....

Our local one is named for Dr William Withering FRS who disovered the medicinal uses of digitalis and was a local boy.

Don't know what the carpet looks like though as I've never been in, but I suspect it may include foxgloves.
