The Hunt

 I dreamed I was sleeping in a dormitory or barracks and a great invisible energy came sweeping through, accompanied by a noise of many men and boys shouting. Once I'd shaken off the temporary paralysis it had caused I told the people round me that it had been the Wild Hunt. "It wasn't just a dream," said somebody, "Because it killed my parrot". How can you take it so calmly?" asked somebody else- and I replied, "Because I know what it is."
