Neither of us will be going to Meeting this morning. It just wouldn't be good to be sitting there coughing and spluttering and stuffing pockets with used tissues. I missed last Sunday too.  I keep telling myself I'm not indispensable and Myself keeps answering, sulkiliy, "Yes, but..."

We have Netflix. I'm not sure why, but we do- and yesterday I took advantage- and did what I haven't done in ages and started watching a mini-series. The show is called Bodies and it's as shiny-chrome-new as a thing can be. And as mindbending as anything made in 2023 that seeks to reflect the times needs to be, So, there's a dead body that travels in time- showing up in 1890, 1941, 2023 and 2053- causing headaches in every era for the detectives tasked with investigating its murder. That's about as far as I can go without spoilers. An odd thing is how the scenes of London during the Blitz tickle ancestral memory. Oh what a wonderful time that was with the sky full of evil planes and bombs falling around your Wolseley as you drive through the docks and the pubs where you go to forget your fear all raucous and brown with some bugger playing "Roll out the Barrel" on the old joanna...

Yeah, one could almost weep to be back there again...
