Outside The Wind Is Roaring...

 The shell of next door's orangery is more or less complete. It has walls and a roof.  Facing towards our property, a little above head height, is a long rectangular window which looks as if it ought to have a gun barrel poking out of it; this is where the stained glass window will go.

We ordered two bags of frozen croissants from an online site. What we got was a single tub of ice cream. And since it was delivered a day late it arrived in liquid form. We have often had orders go wrong, but never as bizarrely wrong as this. 

Storm Ciaran has arrived and has been slinging rain against the windows all night. We have to show up at the Meeting House later today and I'm wondering whether I'll have the gumption to go that little bit further- down to the sea front to watch the waves.
