Introspective

 One chooses who one is going to be in one's current incarnation. One chooses in the hope of learning something- and then one takes the pluses with the minuses.   All experience is instructive, useful, enlightening.  I, for instance, have chosen to be an outlier this time round, a person on the edge of the camp, not a team player- with something of a knack for making myself invisible. The pluses are a critical eye and a certain immunity to the follies of the tribe. The minuses are that I get overlooked, taken for granted and am never going to be voted most popular in class. Them's the breaks. It would be silly to complain. Self pity is unattractive. The package is what it is. I am what I am.
