Tasks For The New Year

In a burst of enthusiasm a good while back I pledged myself to reorganise the library at the Meeting House. The time is now approaching when I have to make good. I need a team to do it with- and I'm hoping someone on the team will have experience of librarianship because I have only the cloudiest idea of how to go about it.

The winter die-off revealed the ghost of a flowerbed in the back garden that I thought had to be there but wasn't sure about. Yesterday was pleasantly mild, so I got out my spade and my fork and my grass clippers and reinstated it. Now we have to fill it. Roses no longer frighten me as much as they once did- and I'm inclining in their direction.

The library project sounds maybe interesting and fun, I wonder what you'll end up doing and how.

After yesterday's Meeting I'm hoping we can persuade someone else to take on the role of "librarian".
