Only it wasn't sunrise she was seeing but moonlight- and the good news was that we were seeing the moon because for the first time in what seems like weeks it wasn't raining at a quarter to seven...

I had a dream that featured a friend I haven't had contact with for a while. When this sort of thing happens my first thought is they're letting me know they're no longer in incarnation. This friend used to have a bit of an online presence- so I checked- and it was as if they'd never existed...

I don't know when Quora first latched onto me- or what provocation I offered- but they keep notifying me of the questions that are showing up in what they're saying is my feed. The questions are often deeply stupid but the answers can be interesting- and I'm in danger of being hooked. I made the mistake of answering a question myself- and suddenly my inbox was being bombarded with notifications. Never again.

Yesterday was a lovely day with blue sky and sunshine. The only problem was the flooding which caused serious disruption to the trains, especially around Shrewsbury. However, we managed to travel home and arrived only 2 hours later than scheduled, which I count as a success.
