A Distant Popping

But when I thought about it I wasn't sure. What I remember is a distant and unimpressive popping- like champagne bottles being opened on the far side of the lawn. I also remember getting out of bed, looking out the window and there being nothing to see- none of which seems very likely. Perhaps the whole thing was a dream.
Two more famous old people- both representative of ancient power structures- have been reported as dying at the year's end. Joseph Ratzinger (Benedict XVI) and Barbara Walters have left the building arm in arm.
Judy writes to say she hopes 2023 won't be too "interesting". I think that's a vain hope. We're living through a great shift in human consciousness - and 2023 is likely to be very interesting indeed.
