Quite A Lively Christmas

poliphiloThere were five of us in the Meeting yesterday morning- none of us cradle-Quakers. Two of them (both single old men) came back with us for Christmas dinner. I was unsure about the chemistry they'd have with Wendy and Mary- especially Mary- but they were delighted with her- played bagatelle, pulled crackers, all that sort of thing. It's probably a long time since either of them did Christmas with a child. One of them was very keen to watch the new King's Christmas Message so- not having a TV- we rustled up the BBC on a computer. Charles is relaxed around cameras- as his mother never was- but his message was as bland as hers used to be. After the two chaps had gone home we instructed Mary in Tarot.
Something of world-historical significance has just happened- going unremarked except by those who have been waiting for a sign: Christopher Mellon- one of the government-people-in-the-know- published an article on his website that confirmed that the Admiral Wilson Memorandum- a controversial leaked document which deals with the alien technology the US possesses and is trying to back-engineer- was written by Professor Eric Davis- who is another of the government-people-in-the-know. And so now it's official: aliens exist!
