Filling In Time

poliphiloYou watch something on YouTube- and the algorithm (you know, I think I've spelt that correctly!) pushes more of the same in your direction. At the moment it thinks I want to watch clips of Sergio Leone movies, sketches by Mitchell and Webb and videos of Darryl Anka channeling Bashar. It's not wrong.
Fun fact: Darryl Anka is related to Paul Anka the singer.
Second Fun fact: Darryl Anka has a second life as a designer of miniatures etc for SF movies.
The Leone movies are all westerns. I've not been offered anything yet from Once Upon A Time In America which is Leone's best film I think. I think this because it has heart- a quality largely lacking from the shoot-em-ups- though they are, of course, utterly magnificent.
I'm filling in time before Wendy and Mary arrive. I'm going to try to corral Mary into making paper chains. Wendy has messaged to say traffic is heavy.
