Sorry, Heirs, But I'm Finding It Difficult

I'm not good at throwing things away.

I think, "I have no use for this thing but someone someday might"...

...And "These photographs are boring but someone someday might value them as historical documents..."

I'm doing my best but my heirs will probably wish I'd done better....

With inherited photographs I have some puzzlement at who/what things are of and anyone who might know is probably not living much longer.

I'm The one in the family who knows who most of the people are- and so feel its my duty to annotate the ones I'm keeping before I pass them on.

Ah, my goodness, yes, you get to write clear names and relationships and places on the back of the photographs!

I've been most remiss: I have my late parents' photographs to sort and share, and am in danger of having most of those interested pass away before I have done so.

It's not the most fun in the world, but I have plenty of spare time....

It's also the kind of thing you can do with some undemanding thing on in the background - radio, television, whatever.
