Not Thursday
I'd been thinking today was Thursday- only it isn't. I find I often get confused about what day of the week it is.
There was a local election yesterday, but I'd probably have missed it anyway due to covid.
I'd have voted Green. The Green candidate stood a chance (I can't find the results online but perhaps they haven't been published yet.) The Lib Dems run Eastbourne and one should always vote against power.
I'm heavy-eyed and sniffly. Ailz definitely has covid and I probably do as well. I haven't taken a flow test because we were down to our last two- and Ailz's need was greater. We have more on order.
I read my last Simenon yesterday. The Hanged Man of Saint-Pholien. I crave more. As it is, I'll have to make do with Ruth Rendell. I like Ruth Rendell but Simenon is in a class of his own.
