poliphiloI was seven or eight- and the other kids were playing cops and robbers ( a game that involved rushing around going Nee-Naw like a squad car) and wouldn't let me join in. "I'll show them" I thought. "and do some real life detecting" So I went shuffling round the playground scrutinizing the flowerbeds for clues to undiscovered crimes. When the others asked me what I was doing I acted mysterious.
