In Lockdown
Ailz has tested positive for covid so we've put ourselves in lockdown. She feels achey and thinks it wiser not to eat anything- but is sitting up in bed, reading, with the cat in her lap. I may well have it too but as long as I feel reasonably OK I'm going to act as if I don't. Laundry needs doing, lawn needs cutting. It's a bright sunny day...

I found the achy aspect of this variant to be the worst of it.

Ailz and I both have the achey thing already- thanks to arthritis. This is just adding an extra layer.

Ugh. I hope it's nothing worse than a bad cold. Myself and several others I know who have had it, have noted that it can take quite a long time to test negative, even after you may feel better. Hopefully you've managed to avoid it, but in any case, hope Ailz is better soon.
