Not Old Age Pensioners

"I think those clouds over there are UFOs" said Ailz.

One of them did indeed have the classic domed saucer shape- only it was a bit fluffy around the edges.

"It'll be cloaking," I said.

The more I learn about ET s and UFOs or UAPs- the more I'm convinced Gene Roddenberry was getting his information/inspiration from some highly placed sources.

BTW I dislike the acronym UAP (unidentified aerial phenomenon) for several reasons.

1. It's unnecessary. I don't see anything wrong with UFO.

2. I think it's been introduced by the high hiedyins (I've been reading Ian Rankin) to suggest it's a new phenomenon and so divert our attention away from the campaign of disinformation and denial they've been waging since the 1940s.

3. It's a little too close to OAP (which is what I am) and one of these days I'm going to slip up and say one when I mean the other.

Agreed. It's the old trick of bringing in Latin in Greek as if they were intrinsically more precise than Anglo-Saxon - which, obviously, they're not.
