poliphiloI dreamed I was sitting in a pub listening to this nice young man going on about a wonderful girl he'd just met. Afterwards the girl's landlord, who was wearing a top hat, took the floor and told us that the girl might look 18 but was really 23 and actually a rather difficult character. When I woke up I worked hard at remembering all this- though now I can't think why. Is there a deeper meaning I'm not seeing?
The gulls aren't hanging around like they have been doing. I put out a dish of cat food that the cat has turned his nose up at and instead of the gulls swooping down and squabbling over it as they would have done a couple of weeks ago they've left it for the flies. Ailz and I have a theory that the gulls come inland for the breeding and nesting season and then head out back to sea. Is this actually the case?
