poliphiloI dreamed I was exhibiting a dead whale to the general public. President Biden came to see it and brought his successor with him. They were insubstantial beings, with bodies consisting of dead insects and dirty smoke. I waved my hands in greeting and the breeze wafted them out of shape and made them merge together.
The next door neighbours have a baby staying with them. It wailed for hours last night. The party walls are substantial and the noise hardly bothered us- but I did feel sorry for them. And for the baby.
This is the last full day of Odi's holiday and she's driving the family over for a BBQ. It looks like the weather will hold. They insist on real meat so real meat they will get, though if we sneakily fed them plant-based burgers I doubt they'd be able to tell the difference.
