Shadow-Play

We have to put up with our spaces- public and private- being filled with cameras, so how come the business of democracy (ie Mr Johnson wrangling his frenemies one by one) happens in extra-super, sealed-off secrecy- and the cameras are only permitted to gaze at the unforthcoming, blackened walls of the official residence?

Oh look, Grant Shapps just came out the shiny black door, scowling. What can it possibly mean?

The resignation speech when it arrives is bouncy. No hint of contrition. He is resigning because of "sledging" and because his colleagues in Westminster had evinced a "herd mentality".

And now comes the shadow-play of the succession. Does it matter who is chosen? Not really. Whoever it is will be owned by the same powers that have owned every other Prime Minister.

Banks, corporations, arms manufacturers, big pharma, billionaires, spooks, the WEF and the WHO....

As it happens, Johnson seems to have been succeeded by Johnson. One day he quits; the next day he's photographed presiding over his spanking new cabinet.

Apparently he can't leave just yet because he has a big garden party booked for Chequers in a fortnight's time.

The Chequers do has been cancelled.

Seems even the blond one knows when he's pushing his luck too far!
