Just as we were getting in the car to leave the farm for the very last time a Spitfire flew low overhead.

We overestimated the size of the new house. The garage is full- and I mean ram-jam full- of boxes and furniture. We'll sort through it all, slowly...

The water pressure is lousy- the shower dribbles- but the view from the window where I'm sitting is fabulous. As someone said yesterday, "There's a lot of sky."

It always takes time- we moved to somewhere considerably bigger but there was still a lot of sorting to do.

One of the great features of this place is that the municipal rubbish dump/recycling centre is in the next street. I can see us making repeated trips to it.
