Nearly...Nearly...

Last time we moved we did it in stages over a long period of time- with very little pressure being applied by anyone- but this time things are a lot more complicated- and I'd go with the handy cliche and say we're planning it like a military operation if I hadn't just read War And Peace and had Tolstoy hammer it into my head that military operations never go to plan....

This morning I wrapped the bracket clock in bubble wrap and put it in a box. I didn't need to because we're paying the removals firm to pack our stuff but I like to keep busy...

We might be moving within a week- or again we might not. It all depends on our buyers' solicitors getting a move on (which they haven't been doing) and making sure a final piece of paper gets itself signed tomorrow.

Our buyers' solicitors mucked us about dreadful and that was before they had the excuse of covid!

Be careful with what you choose to pack yourself. I vaguely recall that the removers' insurance will only cover damage to things they have packed themselves.
