poliphiloWell, that's another week over in which we didn't get to move house.
My son was in the same situation a few weeks back. You do everything you're empowered to do and then you hand things over to the solicitors- and all goes quiet.
And the quietness persists.
And persists...
My idea of a solicitor is derived from the sinister, blackmailing Mr Tulkinghorn in Bleak House. They are men of mystery. They have power derived from their mastery of fusty, old documents. They are, in fact, a kind of magician. I'm a little in awe of them.
