I didn't watch the match, but I did see a short news clip of the English team, in their masks, being loaded onto the bus that was going to take them to Wembley, and thought, "But, they're children!"

Nine o'clock is my bedtime. I wasn't woken by people bipping their hooters or rolling down the road singing the National Anthem so I concluded that England had lost- and I wasn't wrong...

I spent the evening reading.

Much more sensible imo.

I note this morning that the three black guys who missed penalties are now under constant racist attack. One of them is just nineteen and another that thoroughly decent young man, Marcus Rashford.

Why am I not surprised? These arseholes nauseate me and they call themselves 'fans'.
