Blast From The Past

poliphiloIt's 35 years since I resigned from the priesthood of the Church of England- and it's not something I trade upon- but my daughter has been talking to a journalist friend and the upshot is I'm going to be doing an interview...
There was a period- a very brief period- when I did a lot of interviews and wrote a lot of articles and even appeared on TV - and it was all very exciting (and brought in money) but I'm not sorry it came to an end. I haven't done an interview for decades- and nearly said "No" to this one, but relented when Alice said the journalist lives locally and we'll be able to do the thing face to face.
So now I'm trying to remember how things were thirty five years ago- and what all that carry-on means to me now.
