The starlings are back from wherever it was they spent the winter. I just looked out the back window and a whole flock of them rose up from the fat ball that the other birds have been ignoring.
This morning I spotted a junco and two mourning doves in my yard. The mourning doves are regular visitors, but the junco doesn't live around here--he was just passing through. I enjoy seeing them.
